We agree 100%. However, we find that personal ContentHubs are better for the company because of their value to each individual team member. Plus, when an individual has a ContentHub they are much more likely to promote the site. Remember the WII-FM approach to motivating people?
When there is a valuable “What’s In It For Me,” people are much more motivated to act. The same is true when it comes to content sharing. No better way to motivate your team to share and promote content than when it personally helps them and their personal brand.
