Do you research your customers? 

One of my favorite things about LinkedIn is the amazing research opportunity it provides. 

In fact, for me, it’s critical to my business.

This is also true for any and all B2B businesses.

I like to call LinkedIn the world’s largest and most up-to-date CRM. 

By researching your customers you are showing respect and professionalism.

When you engage and connect with your network it shows the respect that you have taken the time to understand who they are and what they do. 

Not only are you able to focus on the right connections and engagements but you don’t waste people’s time.

Research is about respect.

Respect for your own time but more importantly for your customers and your network.

Do your research before you build your network, but even more importantly BEFORE you hit the connect button.

Having a compelling message for why somebody should connect with you is based entirely on “Research”

Doing this effectively will help your network grow but more importantly with the connections that count!
